From Clinic to Kitchen

Ally Roberts, M.S., CCC-SLP

Ally is a practicing, licensed speech-language pathologist who currently works in the acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings with the adult population on dysphagia management and rehabilitation. Ally has nearly a decade experience working with the adult population in a variety of settings including: hospitals, long term acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient clinics. Her passion is working with individuals with acute and chronic dysphagia with a goal to help a person continue to safely enjoy their favorite food and drink.

Ally completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Appalachian State University and her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Gallaudet University.  She currently resides in Greensboro, NC with her family and two dogs. She enjoys good coffee, group exercise classes, traveling, and outdoor activities during her spare time.

Ally has collaborated with esteemed colleagues in speech-language pathology on recipe designs, cross-testing the flow rate of recipes, and educational resources.
